2017 Winter Parking Rules Have Been Suspended (with conditions)

NEWS RELEASE

March 21, 2017

Due to thawing conditions and lack of snow, Ashland Mayor Debra Lewis has suspended the winter parking rules. Residents will be allowed to park on residential streets overnight and will not be required to follow odd-even parking provisions. The “No Parking 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.” parking provisions in the downtown will remain in effect.

If the City receives 4 or more inches of snow, the winter parking provisions will automatically go back into effect. Residents are urged to monitor weather forecasts and must return to odd-even parking during the day and off-street parking from midnight to 6:00 a.m. in the event 4 or more inches of snowfall is received.
