Water Utility Reading

The City of Ashland Water Utility understands everyone’s schedule can be busy, and calling for appointments during customer service office hours can be inconvenient. We now offer online forms to schedule special meter reads to start or end service. These forms are available 24 hours, seven days a week. All requests will be confirmed either by email or telephone.

Questions regarding billings may be directed to our customer service staff at 715-682-7056 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.

Moving in or out of a property? request a Special Meter Reading

To start or end service, you can schedule a special meter read by completing one of the online forms. Whether you are selling the property, purchasing the property, a tenant moving out or in, or the landlord notifying the utility of a new tenant.

Complete the information requested and simply hit the submit button. Please note that fields marked with an (required) are required fields. Reads should be requested at least 3 business days prior to a move in / move out. Failure to provide accurate information here may result in this final reading request to be considered fraudulent.
