Maslowski Beach Master Plan and Green Infrastructure Improvements – Grant Award

The City of Ashland has been awarded an EPA Grant for $175,000 to improve water quality at Maslowski Beach by using green infrastructure. This grant award does not require a match; EPA through GLRI Funding is paying for the entirety of the project.

Through this grant opportunity, the City of Ashland will seek to develop a plan for Maslowski Beach that allows for the successful integration of green infrastructure practices designed to improve water quality and reduce beach advisories and closures.  For more information:  http://www.coawi.org/project_updates/.

BIKE-O-RAMA is Coming!!

Make plans now to meet at the Bretting Community Center’s West Parking Lot from 9:30 to Noon on Saturday June 3, 2017 for the 2017 Bike-O-Rama.

Bike inspections and obstacle course will be set up and available for those interested, and new bike helmets will be free to those in need as supplies last from infant to adult sizes.

The Ashland Police Department will be holding a bike sale from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m.  Come ready to pick your favorite!

CDBG Funds Available for Low to Moderate Income Households

CITY OF ASHLAND TO INITIATE LEAD WATER SERVICE LINE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM 

 

Ashland, WI-The City of Ashland has obtained limited funds from the State of Wisconsin DNR in the amount of $300,000 to assist homeowners in replacing lead water service lines (LSL) on private property for projects that result in full LSL replacements.
