The Main Street Board, created in June 2020, is a group of downtown stakeholders who are dedicated to promoting and improving downtown Ashland through historic preservation and community revitalization in order to enhance the downtown for residents, visitors, businesses, and the larger regional community. They meet monthly to discuss various policies and programs, collaboration opportunities, grant funding, economic vitality, design and promotions, and other aspects of Ashland's downtown as deemed necessary. The most important function of the Main Street Board is to provide input and guidance for the Main Street Manager and the Planning and Development Department on downtown projects and initiatives the City should focus on accomplishing.
