Can I bike or rollerblade on the sidewalk?

The City of Ashland prohibits the use of rollerblades, roller skates, skateboards, and bicycles on sidewalks on the Main Street corridor. This area is bounded by US Hwy 2 on the North, 3rd Street on the South, Stuntz Avenue on the East, and 9th Avenue West on the West. The law requires that all bicycles operated in a public area within the City of Ashland must be registered.
