Councilor Goyke has served the residents of District 4 since December of 2022! He is passionate about developing and maintaining public spaces in Ashland for people to engage in healthy activities that promote connection and community.
Councilor Goyke and his family moved to Ashland in 1993. He has four sons (and four grandchildren) living in Ashland; “It has been great to raise four boys in Ashland and be able to be involved in their activities:” said Councilor Goyke.
He also enjoys many aspects of life in Ashland outside of serving on the Ashland City Council, his day job is teaching, and he loves to help people explore the world, engage with ideas, and experience the joy of learning. Every morning you will find him running, biking, swimming, skiing, or paddling in this great place that we live. He is also quite involved with maintaining and grooming the Ashland (Hospital) ski trails.
