The Planning & Development Department oversees a variety of work within the City from the past, present, and future. The many responsibilities include reviewing applications for building permits of all kinds, assisting with development projects, overseeing property maintenance, and a number of committees within the City.
The Planning & Development Department assists with the Plan Commission, Sustainability Committee, and the Historic Preservation Committee. For more information on these committees or the other work that the Planning & Development office administers, please contact them directly.
